5.4 MINOR FIRST AID

Treating the eye - Remember:

 The eye is very sensitive. Injuries to it are very painful.

 Always wash hands before examining an eye.

 Use only medicines made for use in the eyes.

 Acute injuries should be treated immediately.

 Chronic problems in the eye are difficult to treat successfully.
