13.1.2 Lumps and Bumps Abscesses/Hernias/Seromas Sometimes an animal will be seen with a lump on its side or on its belly near the umbilicus, or near the scrotum. This can be from several causes: an abscess, a hernia or a seroma/cyst. For more details, see page 220 under the “Skin System.”
